Smoke Detectors
It is our goal to have a working smoke detector in every home in our fire district. If you do not have a smoke detector, a malfunctioning detector, or an expired detector we will provide and install one for free of charge.
The Fosterburg Fire Protection District is proud to provide and install smoke detectors free of charge to the residents we serve through the BE ALARMED smoke alarm installation program. The BE ALARMED smoke detector installation program is a collaborative effort between the Fosterburg FPD, the Illinois State Fire Marshal and the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance.
