Training & Benefits
Upon acceptance to the Fosterburg Fire Protection District you will have an array of training options available to you. As a new member you will be given a proficiency packet to help guide you through the essentials of becoming a firefighter. In house training is held weekly with topics ranging from fire suppression to vehicular accidents and emergency medical calls. Outside training is also available through IFSI approved classes taught by seasoned instructors. As you progress you will be presented with the option to obtain an EMT license, Firefighter Basic certification and many other certifications that will make you a more effective firefighter.
